Happy new year everyone. The last couple of days ive nottice tiny black flies in my coop. It is clean and the flies dont seem to bother my chooks i was just curious to what they are. The only thing i can think to have attracted them is all the damp weather

I have had some in my wooden coop before and they were nothing to worry about.  I saw midges yesterday so it is probably due to the milder wet weather.
