Maybe they hadn't used all their food up hatching and that is why they aren't eating.

A tip for keeping bottoms clean of poo is to use baby oil it is not as messy as vaseline

I have been giving it wipe over with 'Juan sheet'  ;)

How long does the 'hobble' have to stay on ?

There has been nothing from the remaining eggs, so I have shut down the incubator now

Cleaned out all the shavings now, put in another clean tea towel  ;)

Put in some cooler water, the brooder is a cosy 80F  ;)

Just like to thank everyone for all the help and advice, couldnt have done it with out you  :)
It's all about the journey, not the destination

try taking the hobble off after a few days - if the chick still isn't 100% then put another back on but a little tighter.
Staffies are softer than you think.

The hobble has been on a few days now, the chick seems to be getting around fine, but I am a bit concerned about taking this hobble off at the moment, would it undo all the work done so far

(bit like taking a plaster off a broken arm too early, can end up back at the start)

I have now removed the hobble, the chick seems fine now, neen running about like a mad thing, then just stops and looks around looking rather bemused about something, doesnt make as much noise as its brother/sister

The brother/sister seems to be cheeping as soon as I lift the lid of the brooder, no idea what sex they are though, I guess I'll find out soon enough

It looks like the other chick has a problem with just one leg, its just sorted of twisted a little, it tries to stand, then puts a wing out to get its balance, but its just spending a lot of time just sitting

A bit hard to describe this injury (if that is what it is)

That doesn't sound good, I wonder if your egg supplier is breeding from related birds.  With the low fertility/hatch rate and other problems it could be the cause.  I hope someone can advise you on a treatment for your chick.  My only thought would be to put a splint on to try and straighten it out.  I have seen online where people make like a shoe for chicks with foot problems.

You may find some advice on here https://sites.google.com/a/poultrypedia.com/poultrypedia/poultry-podiatry

It wasnt the chick that had the splayed legs, its the other one, it was fine, but it looks like a problem with the knee joint, I have tried a hobble on it (I dont know what else to do)

Its getting to the feed and water okay though, I dont know how it wil affect it when its older and in a run though (still got a long way to go till then though

I have felt around the joint, but I dont know what I am feeling anyway, but it looks a bit different from the other joint

If anything happens to it, that will mean that I just have one chick and its going to be really lonely  >:(

Are you feeding them on chick crumb as the wrong nutrition can cause problems with legs and wings?  Or as I said it can be down to inbreeding.

Its the same chick crumbs I have always used, the look okay to me, and I bought them the day the eggs hatched (well I didnt think they were going to hatch)

I give it clean water every day (only because its warmed up in the brooder)

it may have caught its nail in the tea towel on the bottom of the brooder

I dont think they are related, but who knows with any seller, I dont supposed the cock cared  :(

Nope, but the chick just keeps on trying to move around, throwing a wing out for balance

One has what looks like a dislocated knee, (if they have knees) it cant stand up properly
I dont know whats wrong with it, but I have tried a hobble, its not the one that had the splayed legs though, its the other one)
