My allotment
« on: November 26, 2007, 21:40 »
Finally got these uploaded.

This is from the top of the allotment looking down(the polytunnel belongs to my neighbour)

This is looking up towards my shed which has a few perspex panels missing.  Hoping to get that fixed before spring or to cover in polythene.

As you can see it was very over grown.  It has now been strimmed by the kind owner of the polytunnel.   I am now concentrating on getting the beds dug in time for spring.   I have onions and garlic in a bed just in front of the polytunnel.  I have planted raspberry canes just next to the pear tree and most of that bed is now dug.   My compost bins are now in place, as is the water butt.

It is quite a small plot but big  enough for me to manage.
Linda

Nice Linda, good of them to strim your plot for you, a big help.

Looks great, bit of work there :)
It really helps to record whzat it was like at the start. I take my camera to the plot i'd say 70% of the time, to keep an idea of what i'm doing and where i'm up to - website is here, and also linked in my sig below.

I agree.  I thought I hadn't achieved very much but looking back at what it was like in the beginning there is quite a bit of change already.

I just had a good look at these Mushroom, you've done a great job imho, and you seem to have put a lot of effort into it - your shed is amazing!

It's really nice to have another newbie to compare to.  I'll post mine when I get my technology together.  It would help to take a decent camera to the plot instead of my phone though  - don't expect too much.
