I've had a furry visitor too  in my home bin this summer.  But it got me thinking about where there is one mouse there will soon be two.  Where there are two mice, soon there will soon be LOTS.  :D

I took the covers off the heaps for a few weeks and stirred the compost around a bit, and didn't see them again. They ran off.  I just hope they didn't move into my potato store in the shed.

(Can I use the expression Ex-mouse without getting a yellow star I wonder?)

I just poured it from the watering can onto the top of the bin. I used Jeyes as I didn't want to use rat bait
