hello everyone,

i have just aquired strawberry plants and i have put them in my plot. i am after some advice really, i have planted them in a weed membrane to stop the weeds, obvious as it is but is this okay to do? do straws get eaten by slugs and snails? and if so how can i stop/ limit it without slug pellets?

slugs and snails - try beer traps if you don't like pellets,
Also net them when they fruit or the birds get what the slugs don't!
