Are they meant to be so white when you pull them up... I realise they have been under the ground and in the dark, do I put them out side for some sun (tan lol ) or is it down to the different verity's

What variety in particular? Some have white flesh and some yellower, but all have no real skin when you lift them. That develops over a few hours or a couple of days out in the air.

The first ones (earlys) are Lady Christl (I think) and the mids maris peer? cant remember the lates
