Has anyone got any experience of the 'Express Variety'. I visited a Nat. Trust property yesterday and they seemed to be blooming in its Kitchen Garden. Lots of flowers on each plant. Looking better than my aquadulce. Planning next year already! If I don't take note now, I will forget.

Would welcome any reccos or experiences. I have only grown aquadulce so far with very limited harvest last year.

trying these this year for first time so can't vouch for how they'll crop - though supposedly 30ish pods per plant - only time will tell!  They've just started flowering this week and certainly there seems a fair few blooms

Good luck with them. I would be interested in your views in a few months time as to whether they are worth trying!

I'm growing these for the first time this year too - they're already well over a metre tall, and pods are swelling nicely - lots of blooms on each plant and they seem (touch wood) to be pretty sturdy and robust
