well ive mass stacked the mulch now from the shredder.

i gave it a good mix up first so all the diffrent types are all mixed up! went outside just now and its steaming away! there is loads of heat there.

im just a little lost on why i can spread it all over my garden and dig it in but i cant compost it?

then by all means compost in (2") layers with plenty of green material.  Use as normal next year.

so after reading through it all again as long as i have a good mix of shreddings in there i can compost down and use as a top dressing on my plot?

sorry wg ive had a bad weekend, just havent got back with it yet

yeah i got that bit,

ive stacked it in my old pallet compost bin, and i add a couple of spade fulls everytime add anything else into my darlek bin
