My beans are going really well, between 2 and 3 foot high (autumn sown). They seem to be thriving on these wet conditions. However, will a lack of pollination due to the rain affect the crop?

I suppose it's possible but there's not a lot we can do about it now. I just try to encourage bees etc with a few flowers about the place. I've never heard of "helping" with a small paint brush but it might be worth a go.

Quite a few of some of the early flowers have dropped off already, and there are nice little bean pods there. The thing is, will there be any beans in them?
