ANTI PECK SPECS

Help! anyone know were i can get hold of a few clip on specs? i can only find them in packs of 100 and ive only got 5 birds!

my poor birds are all sporting naked purple bums! ive tryed bumpers but they still managed to pluck each other! oh and we hang apples cabages etc and they have a ball we fill with corn and mirrors etc i even give them a vit tonic in there water but they still keep plucking!!

try these people £1.50 for 10, these are beak clips and come in 2 sizes.

Have you tried normal beak bits, which prevent the beak from closing completely?

Another thing to check, but have you completely checked your girls over to make sure they don't have any unwanted visitors?  Over preening because of lice can trigger feather pecking, especially if another chicken can see the  bugs.

yes ive tryed bumpers i dont like the damage they do to there beeks and no we dont have any creepys taking a ride! were at a loss as what to do for the best, im thinking teasel dog might be having boiled chicken for a dinner at this rate! i am wondering if its something simple like there all different breeds? who knows here we go then off to spray more bums purple!
