Hi,

I could not figure out how to comment on your poo chart but I have a poo that looks undigested and the hen in question has an agitated looking vent.

She has not started to lay (4-5 months) and seems to be struggling to poo. This one is watery and undigested but one I saw yesterday was really dry and undigested. I have seen her mess about with her vent using her beak and she has been holding her tail down.

Any thoughts?

I dont know if this is of any help Aunt sally but my dog was doing the same sort of thing, when we took it to the vet she said it was a bowel infection a corse of antibiotics cured it  Hope she gets well soon

That sounds like a very good sugestion - vets and antibiotics. 

I'ld sugest worming to if she's not been wormed recently.  Ask the vet to dose her with panacur.
