On the 5th of Sep I set some duck eggs in the 'bator. I just could not get the $%^ temp. to settle, so I just gave up. I think I turned the eggs a couple of times and only added water once.  I just kept forgetting to unplug or clean out the thing.  Something made me look in there yesterday and ohoh I thought I had a rotten one ruptured. Held my breath to get it, but when I really looked...it was HATCHING!!  :shock: Temp was only 85 in the 'bator, but there he was! He was a little dry, so I helped a little and out he popped! :o . I'm pretty sure by the color (gold with eye stripe) it's not out of the khaki. that leaves the fawn runner or the golden cascade for mom. Dad is a golden cascade. They look like a small Saxony. There are some on e-bay at the moment if y'all want to see.
