Hi,

I was having the same problem, our mud is very clay like and sticky.  This morning I was giving the house & run a thorough clean. I scooped the old woodchip out along with as much sticky (smelly) mud as I could.  I then sprinkled down the bio-dry powder (similar to stalsan f) to soak into the wet mud that was left.  I then put a layer of multipurpose compost down also mixed with some bio-dry. This stuck to the mud and created a dryer layer.  I then covered the whole run with fresh wood chip - a really really thick layer.

I don't know if the multipurpose compost mixed with bio-dry will make a difference but it definitely looked a lot better than the sticky soil that was there!

:-)

It's really good stuff. Soaks up wet patches really quickly and smells fresh too. I was unsure when i first brought it so only paid for a small-ish tub. I will definitely be buying a bigger tub next time round  :)

I bought a large tub of Bio dri and it has absolutely no odour at all. Bit dissapointed as I was expecting a nice fresh smell. I can't say it has dried anything up either :(
