Hi,

I was having the same problem, our mud is very clay like and sticky.  This morning I was giving the house & run a thorough clean. I scooped the old woodchip out along with as much sticky (smelly) mud as I could.  I then sprinkled down the bio-dry powder (similar to stalsan f) to soak into the wet mud that was left.  I then put a layer of multipurpose compost down also mixed with some bio-dry. This stuck to the mud and created a dryer layer.  I then covered the whole run with fresh wood chip - a really really thick layer. 

I don't know if the multipurpose compost mixed with bio-dry will make a difference but it definitely looked a lot better than the sticky soil that was there!

yes ive just ordered some of that bio dry stuff.  Does it really help?

It's really good stuff. Soaks up wet patches really quickly and smells fresh too. I was unsure when i first brought it so only paid for a small-ish tub. I will definitely be buying a bigger tub next time round

I bought a large tub of Bio dri and it has absolutely no odour at all. Bit dissapointed as I was expecting a nice fresh smell. I can't say it has dried anything up either
