I just cut my first swede and found a hollow in the middle.  I'm sure there's a very simple explanation???

its dried out at some stage ,you can still eat the rest around the hole  but the hole wont be very filling :wink:

Yes we had it for tea tonight.  I put the hole in the compost.   Good to know it's not another disease, thanks.

I hear that Mars Ltd. are paying good money for holes for Malteesers.
