Holy Swede!

I just cut my first swede and found a hollow in the middle. I'm sure there's a very simple explanation???

its dried out at some stage ,you can still eat the rest around the hole but the hole wont be very filling

Yes we had it for tea tonight. I put the hole in the compost. Good to know it's not another disease, thanks.
