An enormous pile of sand has appeared across my 30ft rockery.  We have badgers in a garden two to the left and foxes two to the right (in a copse). 
Upon investigation, I found that a new burrow had been excavated in next doors bank - unused by humans.
What can I do with the sand?  It's burying my primroses, bluebells, violets and native wild flowers. 
Would it be any good spreading some onto my heavy clay garden, or just shovelling back through the hedge?  Not over the burrow holes, I hasten to add.

I'm sure the sand willl do good mixed into your heavy clay soil, but I'd be concerned about how you are going to shift it without damaging your delicate plants.

The pile of sand is about four or five feet deep!!  My biggest worry will be keeping my balance as the rockery/bank is very steep all the way down to the river.
