not very long in my house  ::).
They last for weeks - if you think that those in the supermarkets are a few weeks old and then have a use by date of several weeks after that.
I always tell my customers though to consume within 3 weeks even though they are still ok after this time.
Staffies are softer than you think.

Drop one in a glass of water, if it lies on the bottom its still fresh, if it floats chuck it away quick!  As an egg gets older, it will gradually stand up in the water, then start to float.

But like Joy says, we've occasionally eaten an egg that's a month old and its been fine.

well they don't last long in our house , but as all our girls start to lay , we have six now , we may not get through all the eggs quickly so a month is plenty of time , Deb loves to bake , I,m a good yorkshire pudding maker , and we all love egg and toast soldiers in the morning , especially our 3 year old  Amelia ...
Thanks
Andy

Top tip from my hen sitter - Don't boil an egg to peel it if its less than a week old, the shell doesn't come off as easily!
