my gold laced wyndotte was sat on about 10 eggs but she has over the last few weeks broken all eggs bar 2 that are left under her, i m not sure she is even bothered about these 2. they were due to hatch yesturday.

why would she do that, they were not eggs she laid, they were copper maran and light sussex, is that why she has dispatched them?

hi from what iv read on here they will get rid of any unviable eggs,is she still sitting on the ones you have left

yes she will get rid of any not viable - I had 3 broodies in a shed all in their own hatching boxes and every now and then 1 egg would get kicked out and all 3 would pounce on it to remove all evidence of it plus they get the protein from eating it.
