I am a new Mum to 6 girls, just 16 weeks old. RIR. I bought ACV as written about in Practical Poultry and it states that it is good for spraying in the coop against mites. No details given.  Is it sprayed neat? Has anyone used it?

Hi klou, welcome to the forums  

I've never used ACV for spraying  against mites.  If you follow good hygeine practices for your coop you should be fine.  

Regular and thorough inspections of the hens and coop will detect any infestations before they become a serious problem.  I would recommend dusting all the nooks and crannies in the coop with an anti lice/mite product.  I use diatom, many user Barrier lice and mite powders.
