lobelia
« on: March 08, 2011, 11:12 »
I've just received my first plug plants.  They're beautiful little plants of a new Lobelia Superstar from Thompson and Morgan.

It says they are grown from cuttings which makes them more vigorous.  I'm interested to know if anyone has tried to propagate lobelia this way and, if so, did they have any success?

Thanks  :)

I've not tried cuttings but I Googled it and it is a half hardy perennial, so you could even overwinter it somewhere frost free.
Seems it was newly released last year........I'll have to get some to try :)
