Hi all just been given a  silkie cockerel can anyone tell me when he walks he lifts his legs up to his chest it looks like hes doing The german goose step LOL

Hi Phill-c.

My boss boy always walked like that, sadly he died this January after reaching the age of roughly 5 years old. I know it look really weird and I've never had a cockerel before that did this kind of Goose Step but all I can say is he was in fine health and it didn't stop him performing any of his duties....

My Malay hen does the same thing, its always quite amusing watching her goose step about.
