Thanks Aunty! :) Gosh but that's dear compared to the horsey one!

Not there now, I'll have a look tomorrow and get back to you. One thought I had, was that it might be weaker in some way than the horticultural one....

Its more than likely this one from Trilanco which we're doing for about £18.50, but seems to be obtainable cheaper than that online. :)

That looks about the same and is about  half to two thirds the price (roughly), economy of scale I guess.

500g will make up 25 litres of 2% spray which is more than I'd use in a year.

3 kg would last for ages but excellent for a group purchase.

I used washing up liquid and water spray on the whitefly but they keep on coming back, my poor basil plant had to go to bin heaven.

I only use Fairy as that's what the OH keeps next to the kitchen sink.  The only thing I use it for is keeping the bugs at bay, does it have another use?

Washing up?  ???

I give it the works - a few drops of washing up liquid but because this is a detergent not a soap I also add some 'real' old-fashioned hand soap (which will leave a residue when it dries) and to give it a kick, a little washing machine liquid.

But I have not made a careful note of what is affected by it either in terms of the pests or the plants.
