Flowering Tomatoes without much fruit
« on: June 12, 2010, 13:10 »
Hi all,

I've got 9 tomatoe plants in at the moment and they seem really strong. Theyre covered in flowers but only a few fruit. Is this normal and will they fruit more or will that be it?

Thank you for your help!

Flowers = fruit.

Therefore you should be in for a good crop.

Keep them nicely moist and add a little patience to the watering can!

If the fruit is set, they'll need feeding. You can get tomato feed from DIY stores, Wilco's, garden centres etc. Read the label for application.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

It's not really a startling prediction, it just, well, sort of happens!
