i have just riddled the bed....

...that i used as a turves / weed  dump last year - now stone and root free (to 2 1/2 ft deep) and edged with board - bed is 10ft x 5 approx.

as yet no organic matter has been added - the question is....

what should i sow in there now?

i've got quite a few carrots in already (autumn king main crop) - so hope to use this bed for roots next year.

what would appreciate such a nice, loose soil - and won't need much muck?
