Can anyone tell me of a good recipe to help get rid of a red ants nest. I understand that the author Whisky has a recipe but can not seem to navigate to his original posting. May i ask for it again please, I am very sensitive to insects bites and understand that these little critters have an almighty bite which i wish to avoid at all costs. Thanks.

Personally Id just keep disturbing them as much as you can. They do seem to be a problem this year - I have some already in a raised bed and the greenhouse border. 

I have a packet of borax somewhere I might resort to.
