Hello all.

Came across about 2kg of last years potatoes I had forgotten about in the shed, they all look healthy and are merrily chitting away.  Is there any reason why I should not use these as part of this years seed potatoe crop?

If the chits are not only merry but also green/purple and not too long there is no reason not to plant them.

If your spuds are those you actually harvested last year then as "once grown" spuds you are taking the risk of replanting any virus problems they may have picked up last year.
