afraid not  :(

thing that gets me is they read as being good, the covering comes on a roll and not much more than sellotape holds it on and seals the joins, the door didnt open or close right and spent more time off than it did on.

the frame is a thin pressed angle section, iv got a seed rack here that came from them and it flexes with 1 seed tray in it so think of a greenhouse made of the same stuff and you get the idea

nothing against the people tho not meening to be personal, they where very polite and lovely people to meet (i collected)

thanks

I was thinking as a temp measure instead of one of those really cheap plastic ones, even if I just get a couple of years out of it.. Do you think it would be ok? ESP if I can get it cheaper.... I just don't have funds this year for a glass one, and have been looking 6 months for a second hand one....

there has regularly been glass greenhouses on ebay for 100.00 over the past few months.

i got a 6x10ft for 80.00.

just have to keep watch and keep on the ball.

if it was me i wouldnt waste my money on a plastic one

The Norfolk Greenhouses link above also shows ultimate greenhouses. These ones are clad in clear polycarbonate (semi rigid stuff) at the bottom, and the ribbed polycarb for the roof. Priced at £129 for the 6 x 4 size you were looking at.

I got a 6 x 8 three an a bit years ago and it's been no trouble at all, so, if you can afford the extra 20 quid...it may be worth you getting one of them as you say you don't want glass 8)

Hello mumofstig,
These greenhouses look quite good, but how are they attached to the ground? Do they move about in strong winds?

I put down straight onto the soil a mix of old fence posts and old scaffold boards fixed to a few off cuts hammered into the ground. I then screwed the greenhouse down onto the wood.
It doesn't move around at all...........

They seem to have the same aluminium framing as the glass ones, but are plastic glassed instead........so sort of halfway between the standard glass houses and the cheapo polysheet  jobs.
