Had a really weird egg today, which was laid yesterday. It was a really large egg and i was sure it would be a double yolker so took it to work to show off! when i cracked it what first appeared to be a pale second yolk was actually another eggshell, a mini one, so i cracked that as well, the inside looked what i would imagine a fertilised egg to look like, a yolk with a blob on the side. It didn't look very tempting so i threw it away and ate the first yolk, which was yummy! anyone else had this? any reason it happens or just a freak?

It is nothing to worry about. It is not very common the egg gets stuck (for some reason) and another shell forms around it that s all. Try the link below off odd egg pictures.
