Anyone got any ideas on how to prevent/deal with powdery mildew?  I had a really bad attack on my plants last year. I'm wondering if there are any steps I can take to prevent the same this year.

I sprayed milk and water on the plants when i had it, didnt remove it but stopped it getting worse.  And from then on watered the ground not the plants.
