in my very overgrown plot and can't remember what they are. They have gone over being due to be picked. They are a yellow green, think they should really be green lol. On the outside long and smooth and the beans on the inside are light green. Then there are some that are yellowy green with purple specks on and the beans on the inside are purple with white flecks. Will try and get some pics tomorrow.

thats just the thing lol i cant remember?? they where some sort of dwarf bean i think lol

Well, they are definitely beans.

Why do you want to know? Just dry them out, and use them as dried beans for chillis/tom and bean soups etc. I dry 90% of my beans [or freeze them] and use them like this.

  i dont know really lol will do that my son is podding them as i type
