butterflys    yes  loads,,now im infested with caterpiller,,anyone got any idea to get them  OUT  cabage allmost gone lol,,i heard saly water,,im gona try it tomorrow,,let  u know how it goes  tc  mick

I've split your post off from the thrips thread, m1ckz as it's not about thrips but about caterpillars 

Although a little unclear I assume you are asking about cabbage white butterfly caterpillars.

Hand picking is the best option, never heard of salty water - might damage the plants.

Next year cover them up from the word 'go' or the same thing will happen.
