It was fine. Did Sunday dinner for 4 & parnsip & mash shepherd's pie topping next day.

Gladiator are a very good parsnip as DD says good flavour and not woody, no need for coring even when huge.

I've just checke the packet...(as I had no idea what variety I had planted...0

:blush:0) as this year is all trial and error for me I just grabbed a "cheap" packet from Wilkos!

They are White Gem. Is this where I get all disappointed now??

White Gem is a well know reliable one, so you should be OK.
