You know when you make jam there is always a bit left that isn't enough for another jar. Well today I thought if I keep empty spice jars and put the last bits in those then when I do a hamper for elderly people they can have a taster of several different jams. Mind you OH normally "clears up" the odds and ends so he might not be pleased

I think I'll do lemon curd in little jars too cos you have to finish it quickly.

I buy mixed spice and nutmeg for the Christmas pud making from a certain supermarket beginning with T and I use their own brand one.

Well that's the good idea for 2009 The lemon curd in little jars went well on our sales table at our village flower festival.

good idea, we are still mean with ours and do very little sharing
