I grew all the above from seed, when they were small plants ( without labels) my children moved them around from where they were growing in their pots - I now can not tell which they are as all have the same shape leaves!! Any idea? :nowink:

Your courgettes will have darker, more serrated leaves with silvery patches.  A photo might help identify the rest, or just see when they fruit.
Cheese makes everything better.

Courgettes tend to form a bush, whereas the others will grow as one or more long trailing vines.

Thanks for the replies, some of them are long trailing vines with eitherteensy winsy courgette or cucmbers growing ( can't tell which), the others are either pumpkins or butter nut squash! Will have to wait and see what grows - I will def use labels next time.

some people will have seen me tell this story before but to cheer you up ...... A long time ago I set out about 40 short rows all along side a path in my garden .... salads, brassicas for transplanting.... leeks.... .... bedding plants for planting out ......... herbs etc etc etc ............ I was very short of time in those days and easter week was critical to getting a  lot done. Back to work on the Tuesday, whilst I was away my little daughter played Postman Pat with all the labels and the various cold frames, compost bins, cracks in fences etc ........ in fact anything that looked to a five year old like a letter box got a handful of labels stuffed in it.
I learnt a lot about emerging leaves in the weeks to come.

Very funny story Richard! :D
Well i dont know anything about plants.... im on here to learn
one thing i do know is you will be able to tell your pumpkins cos they take over the world! first i was excited cos they were growing.... then cos they got teeny tiny fruit on, then they seemed to be growing fast and taking over the raised bed, then they spreadout of the bed..... and now i think they are gonna take over the world..... much to my sons delight :D
considering taking 1 plant out
good luck, and happy learning
