 hi , just dug up 4 plants and got a surprise ,

2 stones of lovely new spuds ,

had them for tonight with quiche and salad from my plot ,

days like this makes all worth while,

I have grown Rocket for the first time but not such a hefty crop so far.... perhaps yours went in earlier or you have had more rain.  ???

ok guys , guess i over estimated the amout of spuds , lets just say ,

a blooming lot of spuds for ouir 1st picking ,

only 2 stones over weight too lol , 52 inch chest , 25 inch neck ,

 watch ya back lol , im just a big lad , my mum says ,

Our Rockets have come up trumps at last!  :)

As it was Farthers Day and my parents came for dinner we just had to have some.
Great taste and enough for 6 of us - a bagful (but no stones  ;) )
