My myrtle bush is covered in fruits. They are green at the moment. Do I harvest them green and then dry them or do I have to wait for them to dry out on the plant?

I think I remember my Myrtle's berries were black. Perhaps it was a different cultivar??

Don't know anything about them, are they good? What do they look and taste like and what can you do with them?
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Mine are too and I so thought all Myrtle berries were bluish black.

I might well be wrong, but please do check. :)

And after a bit of ramaging I'm of course well wrong, some are white, but no green, I think.

I have just been away for a week - thanks for the replies - I will go out in the morning and check the berries - pick some and try to dry them green (if they still are!)
