Thanks to reading this i now realise the Apple bramley seedling tree i bought needs polinating (i never new this) its a Triploid.This means it needs another Apple tree near by to polinate it.This can be a self polinating variety or if not and its a polinating variety then you need a third polinater to polinate the other polinating tree (hence Triploid) phewww!!
We thought we could just buy a cooking Apple tree and bobs ya uncle!
The other way round it is to buy a crab Apple tree,that apparently will do the job.
So it looks like we have to buy another Apple tree to get fruit as theres none in near by gardens.

head banging info this Apple lark.
OH had alot to say last night when i broke the news we need another Apple tree!!
He said i have to take a paint brush next year and find another tree and artificially pregnate mine or what ever!!
I will just live in hope there are some long distance traveller bees next year stopping off in my garden.
