Ive just managed to reclaim my 8x6 green house from kids bikes, rubbish, weeds etc and now have a nice empty (unheated) greenhouse with nothing in it.

What can I grow over the next six months to get crops off for eating over winter ?

Is there anything to plant now (in the greenhouse) to then transplant into the veg patch for winter since we have now cleared that aswell,

I have just double glazed my greenhouse with bubble wrap, triple glazing the roof.  Don't know if it will work but I am trying herbs and lots of cut and come again salad leaves.  Might invest in a paraffin heater too if it goes well.

My greenhouse was put up last weekend and I planted radish and salad leaves on Sunday.  They germinated after about 3 days and are doing well at the moment so I would definitely suggest those.  I am also considering potatoes although I know some posters have suggested it isn't worth it.

Anything else?  I would be interested to know.

Today I've sown some rocket, coriander, basil and watercress, also planted some potatoes in large tubs and put them in the greenhouse...no idea if they will grow, I read all the posts about potatoes in the greenhouse and decided I'd give it a go...

I'd just try a few things that you like and see what happens, it's all good fun!
