I just wash them, slice them like spuds for roasting and then roast yummy !

Is it true that all the windows need to be open after you have eaten them?    

If you put a little asafoetida in the cooking water or sprinkle some onto them it really does help with the wind problem!!!

Good tip, apparently some are more affected than others.
