hello, i am new to allotment growing - this is my first year , we have grown beans and potatoes and pumpkin and beetroot - however there is still a fair patch with noting in it - is it too late to plant or grow veggies???   seems a shame to leave the rest blank -   Emma

Hello

If you want quick stuff then I'd say salad leaves (rocket, baby spinach etc), little gem lettuce, radish.

If you want things that you can over winter then how about some brassicas? I'm going to be buying these LINK to give me nice veggies early spring.

I think it is still ok to plant seeds of carrots and parsley, well I hope so as we did this yesterday, it said up to end of July on the packet.  Also Chardis ok and January King cabbages, though you may need to bring them on in green house.  Hope this helps all the seeds/plants have two chances so I think it is worth giving it a go.  All the best.
