Weird Cauliflower - New Blog

Hey,

I recently made a blog and posted some pics up which i just took in the garden now. Second picture i think it is shows my cauliflower looking really weird? I wrote broccoli though underneath it for some reason!:@

Please tell me whats wrong!!:tongue2:

I thought you meant your blog was called wierd cauliflower :oops:

it might be that posh cauli broc called Romanesco. We can but guess til you post the pic

Look like it's blown, (run to seed). Possibly due to lack of water or leaving it too long. How big was it, difficuly to gauge scale.

Well its not that big - nothing near to a full sized one...

I would guestimate it's roughly around 12-13cm

yep thats definately run to seed either lack of water or the plants were to old when planted

The plants were really young and healthy when i put them in and then i saw a healthy little cauli form (i have a picture for proof!) and then it started going purple and went like this - is it useless now

?

Im afraid so it may just be the changeable weather weve had cauliflowers are not the easiest things in the world grow successfully
