How about we limit each poster to naming their 'top ten' always grow each year and why?

But surely in the main we are growing them because they are favourites?

If you want a 'Top Ten' thread, you could always start one yourself!

Thanks to everyone who's posted their lists, big or small, it's been very interesting, and (contrary to what I'd hoped/intended) has probably just made it even harder for me choose next year's varieties as there are just too many!

I love squash Sunburst, cut at golf ball size. If I only grew those I'd be happy

If I can have one more it would be squash Crown Prince

forgot to add:
lettuce - Cut and come again one. Will not sow two long rows next year as it all appears at the same time (D'OH), but loverly all the same. any that goes to see will be fed to the hens/Guineau pig (in small quantities)

Butternut Squash - Grown from left over seed after having a B'Nut squash last year.

Like others i will have to print this off to decide what to choose from next year!
