Welsh Lesson for today:

cyw - (said kew) - means CHICK
Iar (said Yar) - means HEN

So... cyw iar - (kew-yar) is chicken!

We have 4 ducks called Crispy, Peking, Cherry and Orange blossom, we only temp. named them until they gained there character but the names have stuck.
We also have 4 chickens which we have called Stepto, Cag, Lady Jane and Henrietta, these are named after my sisters Stephanie, Caroline and Jane, I always wanted a henrietta hen.

We're also hoping to get 2 geese which I'd like to call Onion and Gooseberry!
