any new information on the control of flea beatle- i seemed to have lost the topic that alex 98 started

We get plagued with flea beetle damage every year - especially on rocket and radish tops.  However this year I have seeded some radishes in a raised plastic drum (top is about 3' off the ground) and there has been no flea beetle damage so far. So I can only conclude that a) flea beetles are low fliers or b) that all my flea beetles are dead.  What are you growing that they are damaging?

I think the main thing was to use fleece, but I think alex 98 was trying to avoid that.
I posted that I had read somewhere, you need to smear tracle on some cardboard and fan it over the affected areas, and the pesky little devils get stuck on it

I grow my radish in barrells cut in half longways and raised off the floor, and turnips and swedes, I,ll sow in june when the beatle seems to be not as prolific.
