Well, we got some chippings to cover the mud which the girls and rain had made.
They have been very busy spreading it around for us. No need to rake it ourselves!
They seem to take great delight in chucking it as far as they can over the paving slabs. As soon as we sweep it back, they chuck it back. It has been very amusing to watch my 8 year old daughter telling them off for being 'messy girls' as she was doing her chores outside!
My two sons were up early and cleaned out the henhouse and dug the run over before breakfast :shock: Why...well I told them they wouldn't go away to a youth event unless they helped me out  :lol: incentives sometimes work (or was it bribery) :wink: ?

Me neither, I want more tips please for my 12 year old "Lily" and my 8 year old "Josh", he's just boy idle and Lily doesnt do dirty hands tho she is getting better :lol:  :lol:  :roll:
