« on: May 25, 2020, 06:33 »
hello.
I was given.some tomatoes that have grown well that they are starting to flower. They are in small pots and about 40 cm high. Should I repot them?? or leave them in.current pot?? or even plant them in a greenhouse? Thanks

These tomatoes need to be in a larger amount of soil that could be outside or in large pots in your greenhouse or a dedicated tomato growbag. The greenhouse is probably your best option if you have space. Have a look at the tomato growing advice section on here for more information on how to cultivate them. Good luck HH
Keep digging

Thanks. their is some small raised beds that the last owner put in so I might use those and just add some more compost to it. I will also add some to some lager pots as they were given to me pretty well established and have been given a fair amount.

Did your tomato donor tell you what variety they are?

That would be helpful information when it comes to deciding whether to grow them as bush (determinate) or cordon (indeterminate) plants.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

OK, a cordon variety then - prepare for some serious removal of side-shoots!
