Should I feed my cauliflowers?
« on: September 05, 2018, 09:17 »
My cauliflowers are each planted in large potato bag with good garden compost. Before planting them I mixed in 2 handfuls of 6X pelleted chicken manure per bag. They have just started to develop their heads. Should I be feeding them more? On one website it suggested a high nitrogen feed but I don’t know if that is necessary since they had the 6X.

Sorry to repeat this question but it wasn’t answered and I am rather excited by the discovery of my first curds  :D

I'd leave them alone because they had a good start and you don't want to overfeed them especially as we're into Autumn and all growth is slowing down.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
