quantifying compost needed

all
I want to put 2inches (50mm) of compost over one of my raised beds , the bed is 4m long by 1.2 m wide any idea how many lts of compost i would need please
cubic meters is easy to work out  Length  times width times thickness = meters cube

Or simply put, there are 1000 litres in a cubic metre.

You have .05x4x1.2 = 0.24 cu metres = 240 litres.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
