Call me Maverick - Toms in Jan??
« on: January 27, 2008, 09:46 »
I have a small office near home that benefits from several large windows with wide and deep windowsills.

I've got a chilli plant that is going great guns there at the moment - fruiting and flowering right through winter.

Waht do you guys think about growing some toms there in Jan?? Figure I am there almost every day to look after them, permanent heating, great light.

Anything else I'd be daft not to try?
Good beer, good BBQ and good friends.

Aubergine, if you like them. 8)

I have outdoor toms in the garage window, no foliage but the fruit kept ripening, last week had the last one off.

Maybe melon, if you have room.

how about puttin some tomatoes in a small pot or tin and growing them on the windowsill that should work

or get hold of some chillis like numex twilight, medusa or bolivian rainbow and put them in bonsai pots, they look really cool and can be kept alive all year round.
It's Chilli up North.
