I harvested 2kg from 6 plants, I bought plant and they were outside at the allotment, not sure if that's a good yield. They were under cloches for a good while at the beginning. I probably could have left them longer but the slugs were having a field day.

Maybe you could try grilled polenta with your roasts or even some 'farinata chips' made of chickpea flour? Not the same, but better than nothing. How do Yorkshire puds work with gluten-free flour?

Yorkshire puds are ok - I have found they don't rise as much and are a little drier so I make the mixture slightly wetter than I normally would. You could just about pass them off as 'average' Yorkshire puds but it is annoying as I am well known for my sundry roasts with giant ones....

I am allowed to try potatoes now and so far (1 meal of chips and 1 mash this week) it has been ok so I might be ok
