I have loads of crocuses and now their leaves have gone over. They still have some green but are covering other plants. I know they need some time for the leaves to feed next year's bulbs but is it ok to cut them off now?

I treat mine like daffs and do not cut them back until they are brown and withered. Which is a bit of a pain as they do look so scraggly.
